Dear Obama, Gay Right Is Not an African Priority

To the President of the United States of America, while you tour through our shores burdened with global issues of security/ terrorism, economy, health care and national ties; kindly note that gay right is the least of our problems.

The Kenya you visited has been stricken by Al-Shabaab and is frankly strategising ways to eradicate the incursion these external insurgents. It is quite too serious an issue for the issue of accepting various sexual oriented clans to be chipped in. President Uhuru’s response to that request must have settled that, but for emphasis sake, this open letter intends to help you reason with those of us born and breed on African soil.

For generations, the African society and every society as well exist and continue to procreate, courtesy the only natural sexual orientation we are familiar with. This same sexual orientation is the only way through which a new human can be birth to naturally…, the sexual relationship between a MAN and a WOMAN.  Pardon me to say that a POTUS would not exist naturally without the sexual union of a MAN and a WOMAN.

With that by the side, the African community is still recovering from the ruthless blow of Ebola and is still overwhelmed by one nation’s achievement of marking a year without any record of polio. Gay right still doesn’t seem like an issue that would surface over here.
Be also reminded that there are African countries experiencing drought/ famine, killer diseases like malaria, cholera, HIV/ AIDS, etc. In essence, we are still trying to put out “shit” together. We have been classified as third world nations and probably have not reached that level of accommodating unnatural sexual orientations.

Dear Obama, by the time an African spaceship lands Mars, Jupiter or Pluto, your gay right proposal might have made a lot sense to us. Right now, we are struggling to put food on our tables, cloths on our backs and live above one dollar a day. Most importantly, we are trying hard to establish a system that provides employment to many young Africans and take most of them off the streets, especially those deceived by the sick doctrine of insurgents.

Look around Sir, campaigns on high tempo are trying to inform people in the rural areas to wash their hands with ash (not even soap) and water, while volunteer health workers are running out of free mosquito nets to distribute. These among many are problems the African society is dealing with.
More so, the kind of protests seen on our shores is of a different orientation with the ones on your shores. A quick example is the famous #BBOG, frankly of no connection with #LGBT. Workers are protesting for salary raise, Universities crying for better pay and infrastructure, maternal deaths and girl child education, among many are the issues we wake to every morning.

And finally, a natural cause has never demanded for right. Heterosexuals have never fought for the right to exist because it does not only result to a pleasurable experience, but also makes reproduction possible. Even the cats gay couple adopt exist because a MALE cat mated with a FEMALE cat.
In order not to over flog this issue, Africa has way too many issues on its priority list. For some African countries, Gay right is not even visible on the list of the least of their priorities.

The Return To Lagos By Foot, Monitoring The Trekker From Abuja

So this guy treks from Lagos to Abuja within 18 days... Cool story!

First, critics lashed this trekker by calculating the distance between both towns, by the total number of hours he spent footing and reached the conclusion that his claims are far from logical proof.

After which health workers said his feet were not swollen on arrival. LOL.

However, it is either we have a new World Guinness Book record, courtesy Buhari's electoral win or just another human who does not want to admit that he yielded to a few ride offers from highway drivers. Either ways, that earned him a handshake and probably more unknown reward from the President Elect, aside his triumphant entry through Niger and Abuja.

Not withstanding, his reward and new found heroic status does not prove the trekking/ time theory. In essence, the gain does not necessarily prove there was a pain.

Hence, this post is proposing that this guy should hang back that back bag and return to Lagos. But this time, he must be monitored. Atleast, this will help him change cloths, have a decent bath, eat well and save him the risk of encountering robbers, even though they gave him 200 Naira and pure water.

This will also seal his Honour trek commitment and shame those who call him liar, liar, liar. And least I forget, he must trek within 18 days again.

Between The Grown Rigger & Child Voter

Amid inflated numerical magic and droplets of provocations around Nigeria, the 2015 Presidential Election played through like a real life movie, which it appeared to be. And as usual, the prove that ethnic/ religious sentiments might forever remain a part of our nationality was very evident as the results were rolled out state by state.

Now is really interesting that Nigeria as a nation probably tried to impress international observers unconsciously, forgetting that this is about our Democracy and our future. Don't get me wrong here. The PVCs and Card Reader was an awesome combination, but would be perfected if votes were counted electronically and not manually as it was done.

Point being, the rigger does not require a PVC, talk less of an accreditation that would enable him/ her to vote. Now we all saw the rigging video in Akwa Ibom and other parts of the country.

Staged or not staged, these short video clips simply reminds us that individuals involved in rigging only requires one, two or more ballot paper booklets/ leaflets for multiple thumb printing on desired party logo.

More so, can we ignore, or better still, deny the fact that children, not in tens or hundreds, were allowed to vote in an electoral system that permits only adults to vote?

So while we are busy blaming this region for rigging in broad day light and recorded videos, or the other region for queuing thousands of kids to vote, let us remember, we are doing ourselves. A child that can lie about his age and vote will grow up and lie about something bigger and quite serious in the future. International observers will leave us to "enjoy" the fruits of our electoral labour.

When are we ever going to learn that this is beyond my region, religion and tribe? Haba Nigeria.

While you strain your throat chanting "Change" or "Transformation", remember as you make your bed, so shall you lie on it.

Kim K Finally Friend Zoning With Beyonce

"This must be God", was probably running through Kim's mind when Beyonce took a photo with her during Kanye West's Yezzy shoe exhibition.

She probably wouldn't dare to even attempt to take a selfie with the queen Bey, so this shot is maybe more important than all her "selfish" collection.

Now are you noticing not just the shocking look on Kim's face, which might also be a silent but desperate prayer to God Almighty to please make Beyonce share the pix on social media.

Beyonce eventually shared the pix on her Instagram because God is a good God and also because charming baby North is beautiful, as expressed on Beyonce's caption. Baby North couldn't take her eyes off Beyonce's furry purse by the way.

Notice again, Beyonce did not compliment mummy North o. She just mentioned baby North in the post, which might imply that Beyonce might have not posed with Kim for the pix if she wasn't Baby North's mom. But half bread is better than none, life na jeje... A journey of a thousand miles always begins with one itty bitty step.

Electronic Certificate: The Buhari Lesson

Beginning with an apology for the header picture because I have so much respect for General Buhari; not because he is a presidential candidate, but because he is 72. We have allowed ourselves to be carried away with political frenzy and have forgotten easily that this man, aside being a former head of state, is old enough to father most of us that call his name anyhow.

The header picture is just a perfect illustration of how this whole certificate issue has been blown out of proportion. There is even a "Park, Buhari Pull Over" video. #Sigh.

Now back to the topic, electronic documents were probably non existent at General Buhari's time, but his experience today is a lesson for every digital age individual. I have written about what every graduate must do long before this whole drama began. (Check blog archive and find "Things Every Graduate Must Do").

As a graduate of this time and dispensation, if you cannot scan your credentials and save them In your email or any inbox, then you can be likened to someone who rubs Vaseline on an unbathed body.

Gone are the day when you laminate them because fire can lick that plastic off your papers. Saving your credentials electronically may not be an eternal solution, but believe me, it is the best we have for now, especially if you have a political ambition.

Finally, I tried not to get religious but cannot help it. The Holy Book teaches us to honor our father and our mother and it shall be well with us. And we wonder what is wrong with our nation. Keep insulting every politician that is older than you or old enough to be your father. A country that has no respect for authority or the elderly does not deserve good leadership. Period!!!

Protect Votes Over Human Lives... The Mumu Reality of Nigerian Electorates

It is not a NATION unless it has a leader. For the sovereignty of a country to be recognized among other nations of the world, its leadership must be authorised by its majority and equally govern its subjects; hence subjects must vote.

You may never guess how Nigeria can be "secure" until the season of election comes around. This is the season where ballot boxes and ballot papers have greater esteem and value than the life of the voter.
You need to hear the persisting sound of choppers flying over the skies of Abuja right now because three thousand and seventy three delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are to convene at the Eagle Square, for the party’s national convention. Also, roads have been blocked in Lagos because of the APC presidential primary election.

Truth is, money bags will be exchanged from one hand to another and at the end of the day, flagbearers will emerge at all cost, thus the impenetrable shell of security, implying that a certain percentage and class of individuals deserve protection.Where does that leave the electorates?

Go to the market places or the mechanic shops or even our public schools..., positioning a chopper to ensure the security situation of such areas probably doesn't make any sense. Or maybe, they are not aspiring so the future of this nation's sovereign existence does not depend on them. That probably explains why bombs explode like fireworks on our streets while about two or three army tanks are positioned at the first entry gate of a public political figure's house or office, while convoys of armoured cars carried them around. Is there a price tag on the security of lives?

Yes! The governed are probably too many, so it doesn't really matter how often or how many of them die on daily basis because the remnants will still vote. The "Country" must continue....

Are Corpers Fit to Teach?

Teachers' schools and training are considered to be highly essential and relevant to maintaining quality education within a society.

What then happens when the learned are positioned to carry out the responsibilities of the trained? Conversing with professional teachers, I was made to understand that they are trained to know the psychology of teaching students, varying from children to adults.

This teaching job is not as easy as most of us assume it to be. It has been said that a trained teacher may end up knowing the children more than their parents would put together. Thus, these teachers are trained to have a "relationship" with their students, which eventually results to imparting knowledge and exchange of cordial friendship.

Now, so because we have a system that requires its plenty graduates to render national service for a year, is enough reason to throw them to our classrooms?

Corps members may have the degree, yes; but forgetting that the training requirement that qualifies an individual to stand and teach before a classroom is lacking.

Could this be the reason why our WAEC results have been awfully represented? I found out that a corper who served in Lagos taught both English language and Literature to student in JSS 1 to SSS 3 and was made exam officer of the school. Now the corp member may be highly knowledgeable on both subjects, but the question is, does he possess the skills required to communicate these knowledge to the students?

Maybe corpers should undergo some sort of training before they storm into classrooms and if that arrangement cannot be met, then another alternative should be considered because one cannot be too certain if corpers are fit to teach.

How Nick Cannon Lied about Amber Rose & Reveals Sex with Kim Kardashian

Nick Cannon took a lie detector test on BBC 1xtra and failed the test when asked if he had a thing with Amber Rose. He was however honest about his relationship with Mariah Carey, but guess what??? Kim showed up...

Kim Kardashian always shows up when a rich black dude is involved. Well Nick Cannon said he had a sexual thing with a Kardashian, Kim of course and she has not countered what he said... yet; though the lie detector agreed with the statement.

Watch the interesting test right here:

Christmas Tree, the Power Couple Way

Okay, we all know that Beyonce and Jigga always have a way of standing out of the celebrity crowd and the energetic aura effect that this  couple has is as a result of merging their popularity and hustle.

Sounds too analytic yeah??? So back to the issue and reason for this post. Their Christmas tree is mind blowing and that has to be Blue Ivy in front of it.

The tree is heavily decked and it looks so dope that they almost squeezed out the Christmas out of it. Blue Ivy is a lucky child... Just saying...

Miss Hilton is About to Adopt One...

She has adopted them, from cats to dogs and she is like some kind of ambassador who pleads to other people to adopt the ones she doesn't like. Remember the fortune she spent on that tiny dog???

Paris Hilton has got some kind of "thing" for animals, especially the tiny ones, cos I don't see her adopting or buying the big cat. She's all cuddly with the ones who don't know how to eat people yet.

And thinking that the fortune she'll spend if she eventually buys one can feed an entire poor village just... No it doesn't break my heart. Feeling indifferent on this one...

See the Biggest Car Dealer in Dubai

Well Tyrese Gibson said he is the biggest car dealer in Dubai and I did not even get his name cos I was rather busy looking at the iPhone 6 on both ears.

Tyrese said he was sealing some car deals... On two phones... At the same time. (Lips sealed). He said the guy connects all the princes, sheikhs and royals with the illest whips (cars).

Of much more worthy bother is the fact that he is cute and obviously rich and Arabian.

#Trending: Beyonce's 7/11...

Queen Bee drops a low budget video and the whole world is buzzing... (No pun intended).

This is an unusual one cos Beyonce dumped glitz and glamour on this one. Infact she has got herself a silly dance and the serious and hardworking mom was simply having fun on the video.

Believe me fans are thrilled to see a casual/ silly Beyonce... Guess she is playing with Blue Ivy too much...

She already has 12,400,29o views on youtube and you are about to watch it too...

Kim Kardashian Scorned for saying Habibti Instead of Habibi in Dubai

Reality Tv celebrity, Kim Kardashian is being mocked by some of her followers on Instagram for captioning "Habibti" on her Instagram post, instead of the Arabic word, Habibi.

The Arabic word, Habibi means Love and Kim captioned it wrongly as she posted a photo of herself and a friend on Instagram enjoying a cruise ride in a yacht in Dubai.

She seems very excited to be in Dubai.
